This is probably a pointless endeavour, since I really don't have much by way of fanfic and fanart to offer, but I figured it might be good to collect it all in one spot.  So here ya go!

(After collecting all the fic, I realized I had written more than I thought I had!)

Fic (Doctor Who):

Several stories linked below. )

Title: Ephemera, Part Four

Rating: R

Characters/pairings: Ten, Donna, O/C (Sort of. I'll keep calling her that for now to avoid spoilers, though it should be completely obvious by this point)

Summary: They found her on a storm-lashed beach, half dead and without memory. The path behind her was obscured in the fog of trauma, but before her loomed a myriad of interwoven threads, potentials and possibilities, and a darkness that might not be avoided.

Warnings/spoilers: Through series four, just to be safe. Warnings for violence and disturbing images/themes throughout the story. Also, this is very AU.

Author's Notes: I know. It's been ages since an update! But I've finally got my muse back, at least for now.

Part One
Part Two
Part Three

The Doctor passed the hand-held bio-scanner over the body of their new guest, who was perched on the edge of an exam table, and then looked at the monitor screen set into the wall of the med bay, frowning at the readouts. “Well, you're just mentally spiking all over the place, aren't you?” he murmured. He looked at her thoughtfully.

Title: Of Flesh and Blood
Rating:  R
Characters/pairings: Ten/Rose
Warnings/spoilers: Depictions of violence and torture.

Authors Note:  Please heed warnings!  This story is dark and may be disturbing to some.  Also, this might be a teensy bit A/U

She had been called, summoned, freed from the endless blackness in a blissful outpouring of hot blood, terror, and the intricate dance of words of power. As the world around Her, the solid world pulsing with life and untapped energies, began to take shape before Her eyes, Her attention was drawn to the one who had called Her forth. The creature stood on two legs, swathed in a white linen shift, slender and small and gracefully built, with waves of dark hair cascading down its back. It looked so fragile, but She could feel the tumult of madness and blood-lust pulsing within it, and it was so delicious.

“Obey ye, obey ye,” the feeble little thing said. “Behold the symbols and names of the creator. Be ye gentle and peaceable, and obey in all things that I shall command ye!”

Because She was still somewhat disoriented and overwhelmed with the sudden sensation of life, She did not rip the heart from the breast of the presumptuous, inconsequential being before Her.

“You will take a form pleasing to my eye,” the creature said, and, because She was curious and so very glad to be free, She assumed the form of a being similar to the creature before Her so that She might hear and understand what the creature had to say. As She assumed the form, reaching into the consciousness of the being before Her, the word for the shape She was adopting floated into Her mind. Human. And then, Woman.

The human woman in the white shift stretched pale hands to the being who had assumed the form of a woman and said, “If my soul is to be damned, help me to preserve my body.”

Title: Forget-Me-Not
Rating:  Adult
Characters/pairings: Ten/Rose
Warnings/spoilers: Sexual depiction and angst

Authors Note:  Written for Challenge 79 (AU) at [livejournal.com profile] then_theres_us

She smiled up at him, and gently tugged him forward, to stand so close their bodies nearly touched. “Do you remember?” she asked, her voice nearly a whisper.

He frowned, a wave of uneasiness washing through him. There was so much he couldn't remember. “Remember what?”

“Your name.”

He thought carefully. A name, something more than a word, something with countless layers and energies, with a resonance like poetry, like song, woven into the fabric of his being. “I...” He fell silent, swallowing hard. “I think... I think I lost it. It fell into oblivion, with... with...” He couldn't remember. “With something else that was lost.”
  2197 words.

Never forget.

Hm... I just realized I didn't actually post my latest fic to this blog. It was written for [livejournal.com profile] then_theres_us and I completely forgot to post here too.

So, here it is!

Title: Shimmering Through the Dusk
Rating: Probably PG13 or a soft R
Characters/pairings: Rose/Ten
Warnings/spoilers: Doomsday. And subtly for Journey's End.

Author's Notes:  Written for the Open Challenge-- I used Challenge 62 ("Beginnings") and photos 20 and 22 as prompts.

When she was a child, she-- as many children do-- loved fairy tales. Her young mind was filled with fantastic images, ancient tales told, retold, and woven throughout history. 807 words

Title: When Empty, My Hand Reaches
Rating: G
Characters/pairings: Ten2/Rose (implied)
Warnings/spoilers:
Through Journey's End. Also, angst galore.
Author's Notes: My first attempt at writing Ten2.  Who knows. Maybe there will be a sequel sometime.

A kind of numbness had settled over Rose, a cold that had nothing to do with temperature seeping through to her marrow. She felt as if she had crystallized as the world moved around her. She could hear the tumbling of the waves, tasted the salt in the wind that lashed her hair around her face, felt the shifting of the sands beneath her feet, could track the cries of the gulls streaking through the air. She was only dimly aware of the warm hand in hers, of the hooded brown eyes lingering on her, hoping and not daring to hope.

Title: Ephemera, Part Three
Rating: R
Characters/pairings: Ten, Donna, O/C (will keep calling her that for now to avoid spoilers, though it should be completely obvious by this point)
Warnings/spoilers: Through series four, just to be safe. Warnings for violence and disturbing images/themes throughout the story.
  Also, this is very AU.
Author's Notes:  PLEASE TAKE NOTE-- I changed a couple of paragraphs in Chapter Two to fit a shift in the background history of this story.  I'm sorry if this results in some confusion, but it was still early enough in the story that I felt it could be done.  So people won't have to go re-read if they don't have to, I'll detail it here.  I had originally hinted that Rose fell into the Void during Doomsday, as opposed to being pulled through to the other universe by Pete Tyler.  But I had a plot bunny moment, and now the history of this story is the same as in Doomsday-- Rose was saved at the last minute by Pete.  And then... well, suffice to say Things Happened in the other universe.  That's all I'm going to say about this plot bunny for the moment, but more will be revealed later.

Part One
Part Two

Coraline Andrews stretched her lithe form out on the sand, tilting her face towards the sun, her eyes shrouded by sunglasses. She had been waiting a long time for this vacation; her father had finally given in to the pleading of his wife and daughter that he take some time off from his job and give them a nice holiday. Of course, a freak thunderstorm would hit the island the day before they arrived, but by the time they reached their destination-- chartered in a private jet, of course-- the sun was shining brightly and the water rippled with a deep turquoise. Coraline smiled at how much like a travel brochure this place looked... so picture perfect, it was almost unreal. In all her seventeen years, she'd never been to the Caribbean. To think! Well, she mused, better late than never.

  Also, this is very AU.
Author's Notes:  This is chapter is a bit short, I know, but hopefully there will be more soon.  :)

Chapter One can be found here.

The world around her lashed at her senses until she wanted to scream. She kept her eyes closed because the light, that precious light that she thought had heralded her salvation, felt like daggers digging into her eye sockets. The fabric of whatever surface she was lying on rasped against her heavily sensitized flesh, and a cacophony of sounds, jumbled and confusing, assaulted her ears. Here were too many Somethings! She was accustomed to Nothing, to pain, yes, but not this deluge of sensory input.

Title: Ephemera, Part One
Rating: R
Characters/pairings: Ten, Donna, O/C
Warnings/spoilers: Through series four, just to be safe. Warnings for violence and disturbing images, for this chapter.
Author's Notes: Here's an idea that's been brewing in my mind for some time. I've wrestled with writing it, because it would be such an enormous project, but in the end, it won out. Already it's evolving into something completely different than I originally thought it would be. This started out as an O/C story in my head, but said O/C is being quite stubborn about her identity. It should become obvious after awhile if it's not already. But, fair warning, this is VERY AU.

This is darker than anything I've written in this fandom before, which isn't saying much, I know, because I've not really written all that much. But, to give warning, it is dark and disturbing in many places.

And, this is my first time writing Donna, so hopefully I've done her justice!

-----@@@@@@@@@@@-----

She was screaming.

At least, that was what she would be doing if there were oxygen, if she had lungs and vocal cords and a voice. Her mind fractured, split, tore apart and struggled to re-knit itself like her body, but she could remember nothing, knew nothing but the present, but herself, whomever she was, trapped in this hellish place. Was it hell? She found herself wondering what hell was, why such a concept would occur to her when she could not fathom its meaning. It was a mere abstraction before this place, she somehow knew, a mythology and speculation. Here, she had no form, though for reasons unknown her form constantly struggled to re-structure itself. She had no form because there was no dimension, no space or time, no gravity or direction or orientation or matter. Even her thoughts were compressed, crushed, memory obliterated, as only a last, fiercely determined shred of consciousness clung to being.

Somewhere within that last tatter of awareness, she became cognizant of a faint shimmer, a glint of... what was the word? Words had no meaning here. Concepts had no meaning. But here it was, a Something in an infinity of Nothing.

Light.

She reached for it with a hand that fought to re-form flesh, bone, blood, and sinew. The shattered remnants of her mind seized onto that one Something, clinging with a feral intensity that would not be denied.

Light Light Light Light Light.......

This was supposed to be [livejournal.com profile] zazie11's drabble for her drabble exchange meme, but... well... it ended up being longer. I hope it was worth the wait, Zazie! (Don't feel obligated to write anything longer in exchange-- it just sort of turned out this way) It's aptly titled... Procrastination.

Title: Crossing

Author: wander_realtai

Characters/Pairings: Rose Tyler, mention of 9th and 10th Doctors.

Rating: G

Disclaimer: Doctor Who and its accoutrements do not belong to me. I'm only borrowing them, and not making any money at this, but I promise I'll put them back when I'm done!

Summary: An introspective look at Rose Tyler's thoughts as she decides to find a way back to the Doctor. Lyrics are by Emilie Autumn, from her song “Across the Sky.” I was listening, and got inspired.

See beyond the moment
Think beyond the day
Hear the word
My voice will not be cast away
Fatalistic fortune
Ever near the end
Love goes on
But Time does not return again

I made my choice a long time ago...

Choice. That's what it comes down to in the end, isn't it?

To keep striving, to keep struggling despite the voices flanking all sides that whisper impossible and insane and just get on with your life, Rose.
