What the hell? It's Friday? WHERE DID THE WEEK GO I'M SO BEHIND ON THINGS I DON'T EVEN........

I've gotta kick my ass into gear today. I'm about halfway done with the Magician card-- maybe a bit more than half. Placing all the elements and such took some time, but I've just got a bit of detail to refine and then the digital inks and colors. I should be able to finish it today, if I push it. I'm being FAR too slow with these cards. I was hoping to be able to produce two a week at least (hell, I'd love to be able to produce four or five a week, but I know how slow I can be sometimes and two a week is pushing it as is). Yeah, they take a LOT longer than the simple black silhouette icons, but they're still a lot quicker than full-blown paintings. Thing is, though, sometimes a piece of art can be quickly and simply completed in a few hours, and sometimes a piece that seems just about as simple can take days to finish, because it's being stubborn. This piece has been a little bit stubborn. Not as stubborn as some, granted. At least I didn't lose most of the file like I did in the last painting I was working on-- I'm probably going to start over on that one at some point anyway. The proportions were odd on it and the more I tried to fix it, the worse it looked.

Also, my art blog is getting spammed. I keep getting email notifications for it. I need to log in and delete about five or six comments from my latest entry. I should update that one anyway.

I need to update aeternal_eckho. I'm not even sure what to write for it at this point, but I need to come up with something soon. Probably over the weekend. And it's overdue some art too, I think, though I'm not sure what I want to do for it.
