Oct. 22nd, 2011 12:27 pmGoodness, is it already the weekend?
I rather want to write today. I know I've been saying that for some time now, but maybe the muse will finally break through. I've been reading some wonderful multi-part stories on LJ and elsewhere that have me wanting to work on one of my longer projects. I'm SO bad at keeping up with multi-chaptered stories.
I've realized that one of my primary problems creatively-- well, not so much realized in an epiphany, but re-iterated to myself-- is that I too often start one thing, get bored, and move on to the next without bothering to finish what I've started. That's why I'm so much more prolific with short, quick projects. I think this is a weakness I need to learn to deal with.
Yeah, I'll set aside some time today to work on Ephemera.
Oh! And, mostly as a note to myself, since I've started looking at the story and trying to come up with something to call the mysterious character whose identity has yet to be revealed:
She'll be called Aethra, who was one of the Oceanids, or Sea Nymphs, from Greek myth. (Until her true identity is revealed) I think it fits her.
