Nov. 26th, 2012 12:12 pmI was extremely dissatisfied with my sketch of Eleven and Amy that I posted last week, so I decided to use the grid method to get a better line drawing. This basically entails sketching a carefully measured grid over the photo, transferring and enlarging the grid to the art file, and then drawing freehand using the grid lines as a guide for placing angles, features, etc. I think I like this sketch better. I think I'm going to try to spend a little longer on this one and do it as a somewhat more realistic greyscale drawing.
