I finished reading the first book on Bathory earlier this evening, which gave me enough info to work with to some extent.

I then proceeded to write the entire detailed synopsis of the story.  I don't always work that way-- sometimes I prefer a story to evolve without pre-planning-- but I felt this one needed a bit of structure so I knew where it was going.  It probably could use some extra polishing, but I'll work on the actual story tomorrow.  It's going to be long (the synopsis itself is at 3055 words), so I'll probably break it into chapters when I go to post it.

I still need a title... hrm.

I might make that TTU deadline after all.

Thank you for that! It was an interesting article. Bathory is certainly a fascinating figure from history. One has to admire her strength, intelligence, and ability to hold her own in a world of men, though of course condemning her psychopathy and horrific bloodlust.

Thanks! I ended up not working on it today; too much to do. But I'll sit down and bang at my keyboard sometime this week, hopefully before the deadline!
