aeternal_eckho is now up and running, with an illustration on the profile page, and the story thus far posted! Please, follow the community or add to your feeds, and comment, interact with the characters. They like that. ;) Donations to support the work I've put into this project are very much appreciated but not required; there's a PayPal icon on the bottom of the profile page. I am Eckho. I don't remember my real name, or where I came from, or why I seem so different from those that inhabit this world. I don't know why I can shift space with a thought, or why people seem to see something expected and mundane in me, rather than my true form. I don't know why I am drawn to this quaint little coffee shop, Emilie's Coffees and Cakes, or who this mysterious Emilie is that no one seems to know of. I don't know why there is a curtain leading to a deep darkness in the back of the coffee shop, one that no one but me seems to be aware of. I'm afraid of it, I think.

There are others like me. Of this I am certain. I've seen one, though I don't know who he is, and I can't be certain if I should trust him. I'm not sure why.

I tell my story here. Others will join in, those whom I come into contact with, writing of their own experiences and perspectives. All are welcome to watch the community, to comment and interact with us. Not all of us are kind, but we will endeavor to respond to those who take the time to speak with us.
