wander_realtaiSooo, the weekend.
I've managed to succumb to the cold, I'm afraid. It's not yet full blown, and I hope to kick it with my get-better regimen, but I'm feeling rather blah at the moment. Also, my left eye is very irritated-- hopefully not infected.
I feel like I might be artsy today. I started a new piece for my Zazzle site the other day. Instead of more wildlife art, I thought I'd start something for the "Fantasy Creatures" section, which is still sitting empty since I deleted all the old low-res paintings from it.
This is still extremely rough and nowhere near finished, but you get the picture. It'll come with a caption that says, "Fairies are NOT CUTE!"
And here's the piece of fan art I've been playing with off and on for the last couple of weeks. This is probably the third time I've tried drawing him; he's been stubborn! Again, it's EXTREMELY rough and nowhere near complete, but I'm sharing for the hell of it. It's my take on a Twelfth Doctor. And yes, I'm loosely referencing Benedict Cumberbatch, though I probably won't draw an exact likeness, I don't think.
Today, I've got a sudden desire to draw Ten and Rose. Something shippy. Maybe I will.
