I'm running late. Today is supposed to be Free Sketch Day over at

shadows_gallery but I haven't yet opened up for prompts. I will here shortly, after I've had a bit more coffee (which probably isn't helping this headache, but it's COFFEE).

I completely lost my artistic momentum last week. I'm desperately trying to get it back. This week is going to be a catch-up week. I'm contemplating the virtues of fan art for helping me get my groove back. Maybe a few sketches of the Doctor, Rose, Donna, and/or Jack in between "official" FSD sketches these next couple of days will be a good way to get things jump started again. (Jack-- I've never drawn Jack, actually. Or Donna. And they rock!) And maybe some Vampire Diaries art-- I've been wanting to draw Damon Salvatore. (Who the hell wouldn't?)

I also have... about two-and-a-half detailed grayscale portraits to complete. Some of them are

timelord1's characters. :D I promise I'll get to them soon! Oh! and the four color images I've been working on. Gah-- I'm wondering if I should hold Free Sketch Day this week or not. I really need to catch up on things (some of which are already paid for), and adding 14+ sketches to the list isn't going to help. Yeah, I think I'm gonna drop it this week. Sorry, guys. But I will be doing some sort of fan art to warm up my drawing muscles again, so expect a sketch or two of some beloved characters!
